How much does half board or full board cost?
Half board (breakfast and dinner) costs € 29,00 per person per day. Dinner can be swapped for lunch, just let the restaurant staff know at breakfast. Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) costs € 39,00 per person per day. Children have 50 % discount.
How can I get to the beach?
1. With our beach shuttle (June-beginning of September)
2. On foot, approx. 20 minutes walk.
3. By bike. There is a bicycle path to the beach.
4. With your own car. Parking spaces near the beach are for a fee (weekly subscriptions are available)
Are umbrellas and deckchairs in the Orizzonte lido included?
No, this is an extra service. We recommend to reserve it in advance, together with the apartment (limited availability).
Can I use the pools in times of COVID?
Due to the distance regulations, the umbrella sand loungers on the pool are assigned by the lifeguard. The number of bathers is limited. Before bathing, you have to shower. Swimming caps are mandatory and gatherings must be avoided.
Arrival and Departure
The apartments are available on the day of arrival at about 5 p.m. and must be vacated on the day of departure within 10 a.m. The various facilities such as swimming pools and restaurants, are at your disposal during the whole day, both for the day of arrival and for the day of departure.
Our prices include the first set of bedlinen and towels on arrival for the reserved number of people. For stays of 10 nights or more, there is a weekly change. Final cleaning of the apartement is also included in the price (except for the kitchenette and dishes – they must be handed over cleaned). Dish cloths and tablecloths are not available.
If you want you can book the comfort-formula (extra-charge): daily cleaning and towel change (hotel service), bed linen change twice a week.
Free WiFi in the common areas, in the apartements and on the veranda.
Weak telephone networks coverage.
Parking inside the village and big unguarded parking outside. One car park is available for each apartment inside the parking (not adjacent to the apartment, the avenues of access are pedestrian only).
Swimming caps compulsory
Access to the pool is only permitted with a swimming cap (can also be bought inside the village)

Payments on site can be made cash or with credit cards (Visa and Mastercard).
The cost of the final cleaning on departure is included in the rates. The cleaning of the kitchen and of the dishes is not included – in case they are left dirty, an amount of €25 will be charged.
Published rates do not include the tourism tax of the municipality of Piombino.

The village accepts pets (to be reported at the time of booking – Maximum 2 dogs per apartment). A daily supplement per animal is requested. Dogs must be always kept on a leash and respect the rules of the village. They cannot enter in the service areas (market, swimming pools etc.). Dogs that belong to the breeds which are considered dangerous must wear a muzzle.
It is possible to keep your valuables under custody at our offices free of charge (office hours 8.30-13.00 and 14.00 -19.00).
Holidays without limits

How far is the beach?
The resort is directly on the sea and you have to exit the facility to reach the beach which is one kilometre away from the main entrance. The road that leads to the beach is a municipal road asphalt and flat, which is used only by those who want to reach the beach of Perelli 2 and Perelli 3. Once on the beach you will find the bathing establishment “La Capannina”. On the side, there are stretches of free beach and on the left, adjacent to the pinewood is located the Bagno Orizzonte Beach.
How can I reach the beach?
1. With the free shuttle service of the village in the summer period (from June until the first week of September). The shuttle has a predetermined time, it leaves approximately every 30 minutes, with a lunch break.
2. The distance is about 20 minutes’ walk.
3. With the bicycle. From the end of the village you will find a cycle track that leads to the beach.
4. With your own car. There is a paid parking nearby the beach.
At the beach will I find a free beach or only lidos?
There are both, free beach and lidos. The shuttle service will take you to both. Umbrella and deckchairs in the lido have to be reserved in advance (limited availability).
Can I bring my dog to the beach?
The Bagno Orizzonte (Perelli 3) has an area reserved for guests who want to bring their dog to the beach. Not being a dog beach, the dog cannot swim or take a stroll on the shoreline, but must remain under the umbrella. The dog does not have access to the free beach (in the bathing season). At Perelli 1, which is about 1 km from the village, there is a dog beach free and fully equipped (Bagno Pascià Glam Dog Beach). Here dogs can swim. Our shuttle service does not reach this beach and it is only accessible autonomously. There you will find a paid parking.
Do the apartments have air conditioning?
All our apartments are equipped with modern air conditioners.
How many times is the linen changed?
At your arrival, you will find the beds already made and fresh towels according to the number of people present. Please note that if you have booked an apartment standard for 4 persons, the 4th bed (the pull-out one) for reasons of space will not be prepared. For stays of 10 or more nights, we will bring you fresh bedlinen and towels every 7 nights. An extra change of bed linen and towels costs 10 euros per person (only towels 5 euros per person). If you book the comfort-formula (for a fee), the towels are changed daily and the bed linen twice a week.
Will the apartment be cleaned during my stay?
On your arrival the apartment is cleaned. No further cleaning will be done during your stay. You can book/ask for the comfort-formula (for a fee), so daily cleaning with towel change will be done. The final cleaning is already included in the price so when you leave you only have to take away the garbage and leave the kitchen and dishes clean.
What should I bring from home?
The apartment is equipe with crockery and everything you need for cooking. You will not find beach towels, hair dryer, kitchen linens, detergents, sponges and dish cloths (you will find the broom, dustpan and cloth for floors). Objects of every day use such as detergents and other can also be purchased at the mini market present in the village. At the reception, you can rent a hair dryer against a security deposit, in the apartments Charme it is supplied.
Is it possible to request a cot or a high chair?
We provide on request and according to availability the camping cot without linen and the high chair (until stock last, cost as per price list).
The fridge has a freezer?
Yes, the fridge has a small freezer department.
The kitchen has an oven/microwave?
The apartments Standard and Blue are equipped with 4 gas hobs, there is no oven. In the apartments Charme there is also a microwave oven, but only 2 gas hobs.
Check-in / Check-out
If I reach in the morning can I already enter the apartment or do I have to wait?
During the summer season the key delivery upon arrival is made not later than 5 p.m. If you arrive in the morning you can in the meantime do the check-in and park the car inside the village. Even our services such as swimming pools, restaurants and shuttle service can already be used. We cannot guarantee that you will find the apartment ready before 5 p.m. In low season the apartment could be available already since the late morning – we ask that you call us to confirm
At what time do I have to leave the apartment on the day of departure?
During the summer season the apartment must be left within 10 a.m. on the day of departure with delivery of key and bracelets. If you want, you can use our services such as swimming pools, restaurants and shuttle service until the evening. In low season, if the apartment is not booked, it is possible to leave it after lunch.
If I have not booked the half board or full board treatment, can I still eat some time at the restaurant?
We have 2 restaurants within the resort: the restaurant Orizzonte that is open all year round and the restaurant Dejavù which is open during the summer season (from May to September). You can lunch or dine in the restaurants also without reservation, or add the half board / full board treatment on site – obviously based on availability at the moment.
Location and other information
I will be arriving by train. What is the nearest railway station?
The closest stations are Campiglia Marittima (LI) and Follonica (GR). Both of them are approximately 14 km distant.
How can I reach the village from the Station?
Public transport is unfortunately not well organized to reach the village. We suggest to take a taxi from the station and it is better to reserve it in advance. For information contact us.
Is there a promenade with shops or the possibility to go for a walk outside the village?
The village is located far from the inhabited centre. We are just about 4 km from Riotorto, small village where you will find a supermarket, post office, pharmacy and bank. For a promenade with shops you will need to move towards Follonica or Piombino, which are about 14 km.
How is mobile phone signal?
There is not good network coverage, so you may not always have signal in your apartment. Each apartment has a direct dial telephone (calls for a fee). For Internet you can use the free WiFi (fiber optic internet), it works in the communal areas as well as in the apartments (up to 3 devices at the same time per apartment).
Are there mosquitoes or other insects or animals in the village?
The village is situated in the vicinity of two important wildlife sites, the Sterpaia Coastal Park and The Oasis of Bottagone (WWF). The village itself is located within a green area. As you know in the open countryside there is always the presence of “nice small animals” (squirrels, lizards, geckos, mosquitoes, ants, country mice). As regards to mosquitoes, we periodically perform disinfestation, but we recommend our guests to obtain coils or Autan in order to spend pleasant evenings outdoor. The apartments are equipped with mosquito nets.
Is it possible to use the barbecue?
We do not have an equipped common area for BBQ but you can use your own barbecue in the veranda of your apartment (observing the safety measures and without creating a disturbance to other guests).
