Behind the beach a splendid pine forest offers shelter to tourists during the hottest hours, with wooden tables and benches for picnics and afternoon rests. We continue the walk and reach Mortelliccio<\/strong> where there is another Dog Beach this time but not equipped, a simple free beach where dogs can run freely without a leash and muzzle (except in the cases provided for by law). Oltre alla dog beach a Mortelliccio troviamo un\u2019area di sosta per camper e automobili.<\/span><\/p> [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\"1\/2\" css=\".vc_custom_1571733805266{padding-left: 15px !important;}\"][vc_column_text el_class=\"p-3\"]<\/p> La spiaggia di Carbonifera<\/strong>, come le altre precedenti, di sabbia fine e acqua limpida, \u00e8 in parte attrezzata e in parte libera e particolarmente amata dalle famiglie grazie alla presenza dei gonfiabili che vengono allestiti a breve distanza dalla riva: un\u2019attrazione in pi\u00f9 per grandi e piccini che scelgono le spiagge della Costa Est.<\/span><\/p> Infine abbiamo la splendida spiaggia di Torre Mozza<\/strong>, caratterizzata appunto dalla presenza di un\u2019antica fortificazione costiera e che oggi ospita una struttura turistica. Altra particolarit\u00e0 di questo tratto di costa sono gli scogli che si trovano a una decina di metri dalla riva e che si dice possano essere i resti di un\u2019antica via romana. \nWalking from Perelli along the beach towards Follonica you reach Carlappiano<\/strong>, with characteristics very similar to the previous one, with ample parking behind it and the thick pine forest even closer to the beach.<\/p>\nCarbonifera and Torre Mozza<\/h4>\n
\nFinally we have the splendid beach of Torre Mozza<\/strong>, characterized precisely by the presence of an ancient coastal fortification and which today accomodate a tourist facility. Another peculiarity of this stretch of coast are the rocks that lie about ten meters from the shore and which are said to be the remains of an ancient Roman road.
